The word DIY, Life Hack, and Reuse are thrown around these days on clickbaity videos. This.... This is THE video that defines the DIY spirit properly. Actual useful items that you would ACTUALLY need, made using recycled product. Bravo, sir.

Hey Matt.! Been a long time viewer of your channel. I recently decided to build a microphone for myself and wanted to know what was the voltage variant of the preamp that you used in the build - the 6v or 12v, since the link isn't working anymore, although that could be subjective because eBay doesn't work where I live. So please could you help me out with this..?

You forgot one thing and honestly I'd replace the last suggestion with that: Make a smash video.. After you destroy the laptop you can still salvage some parts and do your other ideas, some of which are great and others which are DIwhY. For example you can easily save the camera or microphone since it's small.. just be careful to not mess around that area too much, or you can remove it prior destruction and no one will notice. If the drive inside the laptop is decent enough to use in another pc, you can remove it and then just run windows or linux off a usb stick or a dvd(worth extra effort as that will make a better destruction video) The rest is probably feel free to destroy, since ideas are kinda not good, or they require investment it would be better to just buy the product, such as the screen or batteries.

I'm sure your video was nice but scatube prefers to disconnect mid way through. So I hope you had a happy ending. I won't support, like, subscribe or share vids that utube cuts off. Their disgusting behaviour needs to be stopped because who wants to watch videos on a platform with no morals or accountability that cut off good videos. If this was happening to a channel I probably wouldn't start on here anyway, I'd go after shitube till it owned up and pay back for all the wasted time to every user in hopes they'll just implode.

After disassembling a large samsung smart tv, I found the speakers to be quite impressive given their size. Rated at 6 ohms, they ended up being the perfect solution for speakers in my 1967 Dodge d200 sweptline pickup truck as it originally only had an optional AM radio with one Central speaker an option mine did not include. On the forum for these trucks, the general consensus was that there was not a real feasible way to install speakers without cutting the inner kick panels, something I was not willing to do. But now, with the original gas tank which was mounted inside the cab behind the seat acting as a subwoofer of sorts, a 10-in thiel woofer that I found, along with the television speakers velcroed discreetly beneath the dash on the upper kick panel virtually out of sight, I'd say it sounds pretty impressive. And, when outdoor listening is called for, the pair of bose 151 environmental speakers that I picked up for 10 bucks in a yard sale and mounted on a retractable Pole makes for a pretty nice Mobile audio unit. Oh and I have my CB radio wired into the outdoors as well, so rather than honking at people when they fail to go at green lights I can politely request that they kindly get moving! If there's one thing I like about South Florida, it's a paradox really because I Really frowned upon people being so wasteful, but I'd be lying if I didn't say that bulk trash pickup day isn't my weekly Christmas! Not to mention revenue from online resale.

Because I haven’t seen it done here yet, and I keep coming back to do different projects, here’s a set of time stamps: Disassembly: 0:48 Speakers: 1:10 Cooling system: 2:29 Screen (tracing light/window): 3:43 - Screen diffuser sheets and frenol lenses (probably misspelt): 4:40 - Acrylic back panel: 5:35 - Full Monitor: 6:56 Microphone: 7:30 Hard drive (intro): 10:10 - Pencil sharpener: 11:04 - Discs (chimes and clock): 11:19 - Head Array (crappy speaker and laser show): 11:39 Batteries: 12:54 Squarespace: 15:08 Webcam: 16:21 Full Laptop (Running Retro programs): 17:25 Or give it to someone who doesn’t need a laptop that does more than emails. Probably doesn’t need a time stamp for that one.

Hi. I've a lavelier microphone. When connected to audacity, I cannot increase it's volume. I've changed Db values. This mic works loud and clean with dslr. What can I do to boost it's volume. Kindly help me with this issue I've few doubts too 1- I need a preamp to boost mic input? 2- These amplifier and preamps are the same? 3- Sound cards, preamps and DAC. All works same? Can anyone simplify these terms?

I've recently disassembled my old laptop because I wanted to use the screen as a separate display. (Thanks for the video on that btw. 👀) Now I wanted to maybe reuse the other parts of the laptop as well and had the idea to turn the keyboard into a wireless one, maybe even integrating the old touchpad and using the old batteries for it, so I can control my computer from the couch. I couldn't find any useful videos on that sadly and I thought something like that would actually fit in pretty well with your channel. Would be cool to see you make a video about that!
